My Mission

Your mouth is in great hands! Dr. Harness is on a mission to earn your trust and provide quality dental care to the Portland community. She loves building close relationships with her patients, and works hard to make each visit as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

Dr. Harness’ personal philosophy is to give her patients the ability to smile with confidence and live healthier lives by improving their oral health. No judgment ever! Every mouth is welcome.

Education

Doctor of Dental Surgery - University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Ann Arbor, MI

Continuing Education

Dr. Harness earned her DDS degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2014. She received advanced training in a hospital-based dental residency program at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital. Since graduating, Dr. Harness has actively pursued continuing education courses and study clubs because she understands the importance of keeping up with the latest dental research and technology.

Dr. Harness is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and the Special Care Dentistry Association. She also performs all facets of general dentistry including crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, fillings, periodontal (gum disease) therapy, implant restorations, extractions, dentures, and partials.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Harness began her career with Tru Family Dental four years ago in Metro Detroit, and has been anxiously awaiting the opportunity to move closer to family and join our Portland office! In her free time she enjoys traveling, sailing, family camping trips, singing karaoke, and spending time with her new puppy, Duffy.

Life and Hobbies

Dr. Schweitzer was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and enjoys traveling and spending time in nature. His hobbies include golfing, podcast listening and cooking new recipes.
